Praise the Potato

Potatoism is a religion which states that the Russet Yukon, the god of evil is the son of the Bliss Yukon, the god of goodness. Theologically, the two potatoes are constantly in conflict, and followers feel they need to choose between the path of righteousness and villainy in order to live a fruitful life. The Russet Yukon rose from the holy soil of Southern Idaho in 1837, several months after he was planted by Henry Harmon Spalding. Henry Harmon Spalding proceeded to eat the Russet Yukon, giving thanks to the potato's life.
